I sent a next day delivery one on 29th November, it got to the buyer who is about 100 miles away, 9 days later! No parcel posted any time between now and xmas (or sent by courier) is likely to get there next day even if you have paid [as i did] for that service. There are currently huge backlogs of mail and courier packages that the transport sector has not a hope in hell of clearing before xmas and with severe weather just started again it will get worse before it gets better. You have missed the boat - the media have been telling us about the huge back logs for the last 2 weeks you know.
I was supposed to have DHL collect a parcel on 14th, they have not come yet.
