Royal Mail 1st Class Standard...Does this mean i will have to sign for my parcel delivery?

you only have to sign for something if its either sent by registered mail or recorded delivery. if the parcel is to large to fit in your letter box and you are out they generally post a card into your letterbox, which you then take to the depot. you need the card plus some sort of id to collect it. or you can phone and give them a date and time when you are in and they will deliver it.Royal Mail 1st Class Standard...Does this mean i will have to sign for my parcel delivery?

No, you won't have to sign for it. It is just a stamp (or frank) on the envelope or parcel. The item should be with you the next day, although there are no guarantees.
